Mercury Base Coat WIP (Shiznitty Picture)

Low quality picture of the Mercury, made out of a Nerf Nitefinder. I'll replace the picture when I get a higher-res one taken late tonight. It's a slide-cocking dart handgun and, shooting about 30 feet at a gentle angle, it's getting decent ranges for a fully cosmetic piece. For obvious reasons, I can't keep it black or go full-gunmetal on it... I'm thinking post-apoc, WWII-Airplane Style, or maybe subvert the obvious and just give it complex gold filigree as suggested by a close friend. As it is, though, I REALLY love it. ^_^
